Meet: Tom Zeigle
Tom Zeigle (Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Dakotas) brings more than 30 years of experience in law enforcement operations, leadership, and training to his role as a Senior Independent Solutions Representative with Command Sourcing. His career spans patrol, jail operations, traffic enforcement, tactical leadership, and instructor development within one of Wisconsin’s largest sheriff’s offices.
Tom retired from the Brown County Sheriff’s Office after serving in progressively senior roles, including Lieutenant in the Patrol Division. Throughout his career, he held numerous supervisory and command positions across patrol, jail, traffic, and specialized units. He also served for two decades as SWAT Commander, leading high-risk tactical operations and team development.
In addition to his operational leadership, Tom has spent more than 20 years as a Criminal Justice Instructor at Fox Valley Technical College and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. He has trained police academy recruits and active law enforcement officers in firearms, emergency vehicle operations, defensive and arrest tactics, officer survival, and use-of-force decision-making.
Tom has led or supervised multiple specialized units, including marine enforcement, snowmobile/ATV enforcement, honor guard, and field training programs. He has also provided executive protection services for visiting dignitaries at Lambeau Field.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Psychology and maintains extensive state and national instructor certifications. At Command Sourcing, he leverages his real-world command experience and training background to help agencies evaluate and deploy practical, field-tested solutions that enhance officer safety and operational effectiveness.
