Meet: Scott Woods

Scott Woods (Midwest) has dedicated his life to public service, beginning with his time in the United States Marine Corps from 1994 to 2002, both in active and inactive roles. Serving as a primary MOS 0331 Machine Gunner, he specialized in operating the M60E3, M2 50 Cal, and MK19 Grenade Launcher. During his military career, Scott also gained advanced skills, attending secondary schools for Hilo Rope Suspension Training (rappelling), becoming a Marksmanship Instructor, and serving as a Close Quarters Battle Instructor.
After his military service, Scott transitioned to civilian law enforcement and casino security roles. For 10 years, he worked in Casino Surveillance, collaborating with the Indiana Gaming Commission to combat money laundering, human trafficking, and cheating.
For 13 years, Scott served with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, where he held multiple key roles, including Corrections Officer, Field Training Officer, and Indiana Corrections Academy Instructor. His extensive experience also included responsibilities as a Court Transport Officer, Commander of the Corrections Emergency Response Team, and various instructor positions in Less Lethal Tactics, Field Force, Pepper Ball, and FN 303 systems.
Since 2016, Scott has been with Command Sourcing, where he continues to provide invaluable expertise as a Solutions Consultant and Body Scanner Trainer. His diverse experience across military, law enforcement, and specialized training roles reflects his deep commitment to safety, security, and tactical excellence.
