Meet: Michael Kenney

Michael Kenney (Northeast) brings more than four decades of frontline and leadership experience in corrections, law enforcement, and security operations to his role as Senior Independent Solutions Representative for the Northeast region. His career began in 1983 with the New Jersey Department of Corrections, where he served in positions ranging from Corrections Officer to Sergeant and Special Operations Team Leader. He played a key role in post-9/11 tactical readiness and institutional security, earning multiple commendations for outstanding service.
Michael later served with The Kintock Group, a residential community corrections facility in Bridgeton NJ, rising to Director of Security Operations. In this role, he led multi-departmental teams, managed compliance, authored investigative and procedural reports, and oversaw recruitment and training efforts across the facility.
Since 2018, Michael has also operated Kenney Protective Agency, providing professional security services, safety training, and leadership development throughout the region.
Michael holds extensive specialized training through the NJ DOC, FBI, and regional law enforcement academies in areas such as crisis negotiation, chemical agent instruction, emergency response, and critical incident stress management.
With his unique blend of tactical experience and operational leadership, Michael now supports Command Sourcing’s mission by providing agencies with trusted solutions that enhance safety, accountability, and performance.
