Daren Ward (Idaho) is an elected County Commissioner for Adams County, Idaho, and currently serves as a Solutions Specialist at Command Sourcing. With 24 years of experience in civilian law enforcement, Daren retired as a Captain and Jail Commander, overseeing a staff of 165 deputies and managing Idaho's second-largest jail. His law enforcement career is complemented by 9 years of service in the U.S. Navy, where he spent 3 years as Security Police, further strengthening his expertise in security and policing.
A graduate of the esteemed Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command, Daren holds several certifications from the Idaho Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST), including Management, Supervisor, Advanced, Intermediate, and Basic certifications. His leadership skills were recognized in 2015 when he was elected President of the Idaho Jail Administrators Association.
